The digital graphics designer is a chameleon of communication-able to blend art and technology into numerous forms of powerful expression. Successful digital designers must develop a broad range of skill sets to effectively bring a project from concept to completion.

The digital designer evaluates audience response and visual stimuli, determines appropriate aesthetic sensibilities, identifies effective spatial relationships, and applies this knowledge through software mastery to color selection, typography and page layout organization.

The Digital Graphics and Web Design Program takes a professional, experienced approach in applying these unique skills to a variety of mediums:

• Print Collaterals, inclusive of branding and corporate identity, brochures, advertising, signage, packaging, etc.
• Digital Illustration as applied to logo development, and illustrative applications
• Digital photography
• Web design: layout and production
• Flash animation
• Begin the evolution of a working portfolio (digital and traditional) We work with local non-profit companies in San Diego and this is where your talent will be shown
